Ryan Richardson has a MMA record of 3-0 and he has no intensions of giving up his first loss anytime soon. Sherdog.com got an interview with the undefeated EFC Lightweight.

SD - Hey Ryan, how are you doing?
RR - I'm doin' alright.

SD - You are so far 3-0, how does it feel to be known as one of the better fighters right now in MMA?
RR -To be honest I don't much care for all the attention and fame, I just wanna fight.

SD - You have two fights coming up, one is in the tourney against Jason Wiesk. Thoughts on him? He is 3-0 as well.
RR - Jason is a tough kid, who's very well rounded. He says he wants to come out and hit me with a flyin' knee, but I can tell ya' this as soon as he throws that knee, I'm gonna catch it and I'm a gonna slam him on his head. I have a lot of respect for Jason, but I know that if I put him on his back ,he's in trouble.

SD - After that fight you will be fighting Tadashi Ishikawa. What are your thoughts on him and how will you beat him?
RR - He's a tough fighter I mean we all saw what he did to Abel da Silva. The man has a great ground game and he'll probably be my toughest opponent to date just, because of the way our styles match up, but I think when I put him on his back and start reigning down punches on his face, he's goin' to be in a whole new world.

SD - You signed a contract with the Elite FC. Do you plan to stay there for a while?
RR -We had some troubles at first. I'm a fighter and I was born a fighter and when he Elite FC didn't have me scheduled for Elite FC 1, I was pretty upset, but now that they took care of that problem I have no problems with Elite FC. They've already shown that they listen to their fighters and cuz' of that they have my respect and I'll probably wind up stayin' there b ut never say never.

SD - What do you think about the accusations against the Futeki FC about paying off Elite guys to lose in the tourney?
RR -I think it's ridiculous and not even worth really talking about, enoughs already been said on the topic.

SD - Futeki pretty much smashed the Elite so far in the tourney. Does that make you upset?
RR -Not really, I'm just concerned about my performance in this tournament, I could care less, if Futeki FC is doin' better than Elite FC, just as long as I put forth my best effort in this tournament. That to me is the most important thing.

SD - Thanks for your time and god luck in the future. Any last words?
RR -I'd just like to say howdy to all my friends and family back in South Carolina.
